Interviews can be hard, especially for first timers. If I were to give some advices to someone who is about to go to an interview, I would suggest them do the following things.

First of all, dress to impress. First impressions are important. Show up at the interview in business attire. At least you’ll look professional. It doesn’t mean that you have to dress uber smart, but jeans and t-shirt are a big no.

Secondly, prepare for the interview beforehand.

Do some research on the position and the company you are applying for. Prepare the answers for the questions you’ll likely to be asked during the interview.

If you can do the two things mentioned above, you are off to a good start.
